Built for the trades

Your phone, answered.Built for appliance repair.

An AI receptionist that knows appliance repair: what to ask before the truck moves, what not to quote over the phone, and what is an emergency versus a service call.

Refrigerator goes out on a Friday afternoon. The family has $400 of groceries in it and they are calling every appliance shop in town.

That caller books with whoever picks up first. Not whoever calls back Monday morning.

Thanksgiving week, every dryer in a fifty-mile radius breaks at the same time. That is the week this pays for itself.

$39

a month to start, 200 minutes, about 55 calls

A live answering service runs $180 to $600 a month and takes a message. This books the job. All three plans

Takes about a minute. We read your site and build an agent from what we find. No email. No card.

01 / What it knows about appliance repair

  • A refrigerator that is not cooling is a same-day call, not a three-day estimate. It sorts by urgency before it looks at the schedule.
  • Sparks or a burning smell from an appliance is not a service call. It tells them to unplug it immediately and rings you.
  • A dishwasher leaking onto the floor gets triaged the same as a plumbing call: shut the water off first.
  • It asks the brand and the model before it promises anything, because some parts take a week.
  • It will not give a repair price over the phone. A diagnosis has to happen first, or the price it quotes is wrong half the time.
  • It separates 'I want a new one' calls from 'I want this one fixed' calls, because those go on different tracks.
  • Warranty calls get asked for the purchase date and the model number before a service call is booked.

02

The work

The jobs it books without asking you.

These come pre-selected when you set it up, because they are what appliance repair shops actually run. You uncheck what you do not do and add what is missing, once.

  • Refrigerator repair
  • Washer repair
  • Dryer repair
  • Dishwasher repair
  • Oven and range repair
  • Freezer repair
  • Ice maker repair
  • Microwave repair

Anything it has not been told about, it says it does not know and sends you the question by text. It does not guess.

03

The call it has to get right

What happens when someone says the wrong thing.

Most calls book a job. One kind of call requires something else. Here is what it does when that call comes in.

Example trigger

Caller says their appliance is sparking or smoking

What it does (example)

It tells them to unplug the appliance immediately and not use the outlet again until it is inspected. If it is a built-in appliance they cannot unplug, it tells them to shut off the circuit breaker for that outlet. It texts you an alert and does not schedule a routine visit.

This is an example of how the system is configured to respond. Exact behavior reflects your setup.

04

The question set

What it asks before anyone drives anywhere.

These are the intake questions built for appliance repair. The same questions you would ask. They get asked on every call, in order, before anything is scheduled or priced.

  1. What appliance is it: refrigerator, washer, dryer, dishwasher, oven?
  2. What brand and model?
  3. What is it doing, or not doing?
  4. Are there any error codes on the display?
  5. How old is the appliance, roughly?
  6. Is it sparking, smoking, or making unusual sounds?

What it will not quote

Repair cost before diagnosis

Appliance repair price depends on what part failed, whether that part is in stock, and whether the repair is worth it versus replacement. An honest price requires a tech looking at it first.

It quotes your diagnostic fee ($89 default) and offers a window. Nothing else until a tech is on site.

When it earns its keep

Holiday season and summer. That is when the phone triples and every missed call is a job that went to the next shop on the list. This does not go up in your busy months. The bill in your busiest week is the bill in January.

The next call is the one you are about to miss.

Set it up in about twenty minutes, once. We read your website, you correct what we got wrong, and you forward your number when you are happy with it. Not before.
